We have a lovely room with a fireplace and a balcony, and we took a long walk around town when we got here.
It was a beautiful drive down from I-40 in Flagstaff to here, but neither one of us were up for hopping back into the car to go find trails. So we walked around town for a while, and came back to the hotel to rest. No Sedona Photodump this time. I have a reservation at what claims to be Sedona’s oldest continuously operating restaurant (72 years), where we will enjoy their dog friendly patio.

IIt will be almost a 10 hour drive home tomorrow, so we may have to spend one more night on the road. The. We saddle up again on Friday. I have to go to Salinas to do an I-9 training for a client, a meeting on a pesticide exposure investigation with another one, and a breakfast meeting on labor relations with some cannabis growers. On the upside, my Ninja is fixed and waiting for me.

Don’t forget to buy some spirit crystals while you’re there!

Mmmmmm, pesticide exposure. Just took a Toxicology midterm last night. Learning all the mechanisms behind those compounds has reinforced my resolve to continue only using scorpions, black widows and cats for pest control. Enjoy Sedona!

89A though Oak Creek is highly recommended to get back up to I 40\flagstaff . Totally didn’t think of suggesting for the way down. Twisty, pretty. One of my favorite drives. As long as not too busy weekday morning should be fine.

Huh. Wife and I have been to Sedona dozens of times, but somehow missed out on Relics. I will have to rectify that.
Have a safe trip home.

That pretty much epitomizes Sedona. Imported spirituality.
